Kebijakan Penarikan Naskah
1. Manuscript Withdrawal Policy
Authors may request the withdrawal of a manuscript after submission or during the publication process. However, withdrawal requests submitted at an advanced stage of editorial processing may result in unnecessary delays and administrative burdens for editors, reviewers, and journal staff. Therefore, authors are expected to carefully review their manuscripts, authorship information, and publication agreements prior to submission.
All authors, including the corresponding author and co-authors, must ensure that:
- The manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere;
- All authors have approved the submission;
- The data and information presented are accurate and reliable;
- Any authorship disputes or conflicts have been resolved before submission.
Authors must comply with the publication ethics and editorial policies of IJEIS. Manuscripts previously submitted to another journal must be formally withdrawn from that journal before being submitted to IJEIS. Submitting or withdrawing a manuscript solely because it has been accepted by another journal is considered unethical publishing behavior.
2. Manuscript Withdrawal Conditions
Authors may withdraw their manuscript within 48 hours after submission without penalty. Withdrawal requests submitted after this period, particularly:
- After the peer-review process has started;
- During the editing or production stage;
- During Early Release or Ahead of Publication;
- After online publication,
will be evaluated by the Editorial Office of IJEIS.
In such cases, the Editorial Office reserves the right to:
- Reject the withdrawal request; or
- Request a formal written explanation from the corresponding author.
If the withdrawal request is approved at an advanced publication stage, the journal will issue an official Manuscript Withdrawal Letter to the corresponding author. The withdrawal record may also be maintained for publication transparency and scholarly integrity purposes.
3. Ethical Statement
IJEIS strictly emphasizes that manuscript withdrawal must not be used to:
- Submit the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously;
- Avoid editorial decisions or peer-review outcomes;
- Manipulate the publication process for personal advantage.
Such actions are considered violations of publication ethics and may result in sanctions or restrictions on future submissions to the journal.
