The National Journal of Community Service is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and continuous availability of all published scholarly content. To achieve this goal, the journal implements several archiving methods as follows.

Authors are permitted to perform self-archiving by storing the final published version of their articles in institutional repositories, thematic repositories, or personal websites, provided that appropriate attribution and the official DOI link from the journal are included.

The journal also supports distributed archiving systems such as LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and/or CLOCKSS, particularly when using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. These systems enable secure content storage across partner libraries to ensure long-term accessibility.

In addition, the journal encourages the preservation of articles in academic institutional repositories, national libraries, and other scholarly archives to broaden access and increase publication visibility.

As an additional safeguard, the editorial team regularly performs data and content backups to prevent data loss caused by technical failures.

Through this policy, The National Journal of Community Service ensures that all published articles remain accessible to the public, even in the event of system failures on the journal’s main website.
