Peer Review Process
JNP: Jurnal Nasional Pengabdian pada Masyarakat applies a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific contribution of all published articles. In this system, both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.
1. Initial Submission
Authors submit manuscripts through the journal submission system. The editorial team checks completeness and compliance with the author guidelines.
2. Editorial Screening
The editor evaluates the manuscript for:
- Relevance to journal scope
- Basic academic quality
- Plagiarism check
- Formatting compliance
Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements may be rejected or returned for revision before review.
3. Peer Review
Eligible manuscripts are sent to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on:
- Originality and innovation
- Methodology and implementation of community service
- Clarity and structure
- Impact and contribution to society
- Scientific quality and relevance
4. Review Decision
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial decision may be:
- Accept
- Minor revision
- Major revision
- Reject
Authors are required to revise the manuscript according to reviewer comments within the specified time.
5. Final Decision
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on reviewer feedback and revised manuscripts.
6. Publication
Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout editing, and final publication in the journal.
