Publication Ethics
JNP: Jurnal Nasional Pengabdian pada Masyarakat is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. All parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, and reviewers—are expected to adhere to ethical principles and academic integrity.
Duties of Authors
Authors must ensure that:
- Submitted manuscripts are original and not under consideration elsewhere
- All data and findings are accurately reported without fabrication or falsification
- Proper acknowledgment and citation of sources are provided
- Authorship reflects only those who significantly contributed to the work
- Any conflicts of interest are disclosed
Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.
Duties of Editors
Editors are responsible for:
- Ensuring fair, unbiased, and confidential review processes
- Evaluating manuscripts based on academic merit and relevance
- Making publication decisions without discrimination or conflict of interest
- Maintaining confidentiality of submitted manuscripts
Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers must:
- Provide objective and constructive evaluations
- Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript
- Identify relevant missing references
- Avoid conflicts of interest in the review process
Publication Misconduct
The journal strictly prohibits:
- Plagiarism
- Data fabrication or falsification
- Duplicate submission or publication
- Improper authorship practices
Violations may result in rejection, retraction, or institutional notification.
